Anniversary Visit

We reserved our usual room for an anniversary trip to one of our favorite places. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The furnishings are top notch. It reminds me of something you would see in an upscale resort town. All of the rooms are so tastefully decorated. You can't go wrong with any of them. They are so comfortable and the large jacuzzi tubs are awesome. This is the place to go if you are looking for a great, quiet nights sleep. It is truly a diamond out west. It sits just down the road from the entrance to "The City of Rocks". We are already planning the next trip with the entire family in the Spring. We highly recommend this hotel. PS go next door to the Outpost Restaurant and order the best steak you will ever eat!

Quiet, clean, spacious & reasonable...

Almo Inn, presently excellent lodging! First class accommodations! Plenty of peace & quiet! We enjoyed City of Rocks, welcomed and given a guided tour with the delightful and informative Staff, Josh & Maple Monk. Also, on our night of arrrival we enjoyed a delicious steaks w/ a baked potato, salad and "Pioneer Pie.." across the way there (I believe same owners.) Two days & nights staying at this charming & comfortable "Country Cabin" environment was a perfect "country get away"! Thank you!

Wonderful late season excursion

Our family had a great time staying at Almo Inn. The room was very nice, well decorated, and clean. We visited nearby city of rocks for hiking and sight-seeing. We ate dinner at the associated Outpost Steakhouse and the steak was great. We will be back!

Pretty sweet!

The couple that run this place are awesome. We got into town late not realizing how remote the area is. The place looked closed up for the night, but when we called the hotel's phone number, the owners drove in from their home and set us up. Even gave us some rolls to snack on, we must have looked hungry. The room is spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, not to mention reasonably priced. We will be staying here again, for sure!

Pleasantly Surprised

On a family climbing trip to the City of Rocks, where we would normally camp, we got a room (suite, really) at the Almo Inn due to cold early October weather and an 8-Month old. Didn't have high expectations for such a small, out-of-the-way Inn but were thrilled to find a very clean, thoughtfully decorated, cozy suite. It has western decor but not the ticky-tacky 'country-home' type - it is actually pretty clever, with old photos stuck into the mirrors and cowboy boots at the foot of the bed. Full kitchenette with dishes, too! Look forward to treating ourselves again to the Almo Inn on our next climbing trip! A total gem.

A great get away in remote Idaho

We stayed at the Almo Inn last weekend and it turned out to be one of the best places to stay that we have ever been to. The rooms are large suites and are very new. The beds are comfortable with down filled quilts. Each room has a microwave, coffee maker, sink and all kitchen utensils. The restaurant has excellent steaks and the service is great. We are making plans to go back. There are no televisions in the rooms which we liked.
